First of all, let’s just get this out of the way: the 2014 Toyota Camry looks great, and it manages to maintain the identity which makes Camrys so dear to some, all while innovating here and there and preparing the model for a severely competitive future. One of the first and visible changes we see are the wheels, which are much bigger; engineers also added a sunroof, and while the car is no luxury car, but just a mid-sized sedan, people who are on the market for this type of car will not be disappointed. The model will be available in five versions with two types of engines: one a four-cylinder engine, and another a V6; luckily enough, both are pretty economical, and those who are looking for something a bit different can check out the Camry Hybrid as well.

As for trim levels, the 2014 Toyota Camry has it all; there are five versions, as follows: L, LE, SE, SE Sport and XLE. The wheel size on each model are, in order: 16-inch steel wheels, 17-inch alloy wheels, 18-inch wheels, and 17-inch for the XLE again. Other options on the L are: air conditioning, cruise control, power mirrors and windows, a tilted steering wheel, Bluetooth phone and audio compatibility, trip computer, CD player, touchscreen display and many others which you would expect. The LE model has additional options for power lock doors, remote keyless entry, automatic headlamps and outside temperature display.

Each trim level has additional options, like the SE which comes with foglights, sport seats, heated mirrors, leather trim steering wheel, whereas the SE Sport comes with a sunroof. We would waste space trying to enumerate all the options and trims that the cars benefit from, so we’re going to jump right to performance. All of the versions mentioned above feature the same all-wheel drive system and six-speed automatic transmission; the basic models are fitted with 2.5 liter four-cylinder engines that produce 178 horsepower, and they will reach 60 mph in about 8.2 seconds. As for the SE and XLE, they feature a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 268 horsepower, reaching 60 mph in 6.6 seconds. All in all, it looks like the 2014 Toyota Camry was made for all tastes, and will satisfy a wide variety of customers.
